The Big Portland Bake Show

The Waterfront Blues Festival is an annual music celebration held during the 4th of July weekend at Tom McCall Waterfront Park in downtown Portland. As the largest celebration of blues, soul, funk, and R&B west of the Mississippi, it features multiple stages of live music and food vendors.

Portland Pride Parade and Festival
The annual Portland Pride Waterfront Festival and Parade, is one of the largest donation-based LGBTQIA2S+ Pride events on the west coast, attracting tens of thousands of visitors to Portland each year. LGBTQIA2S+ people travel from all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond to express their individuality and celebrate community in a safe, open environment.
8 Seconds Rodeo
The 8 Seconds Rodeo is a community-centered celebration of Black western heritage, blending rodeo sport, art, and storytelling. Hosted in Portland, the event brings together riders, families, and fans for a day of competition, cultural connection, and joyful gathering.
A Beat Happening 9 Year Anniversary: Summer Frequencies Showcase
This free, all-ages event is hosted by Luvjonez and Free Tillman, and showcases BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ artists while featuring live performances, community partner tables, and multi-genre sounds spanning hip hop, dance, electronic, turntablism, and experimental music.
Iridescent PDX Carnival Market
This carnival features local queer vendors, carnival games, clowns, live performances, delicious food, and workshops!
Juneteenth Oregon Festival
Annually, millions of people across America join the African American community in celebrating “Juneteenth”. In Portland, we honor this day with a community parade “The Clara Peoples Freedom Trail Parade,'' and a public festival located at Lillis-Albina Park located on N. Russell and N. Flint.
Portland Track Festival
The Portland Track Festival is a premier, high-performance track and field event in Portland, Oregon. Hosted at Lewis & Clark College's Griswold Stadium—familiarly dubbed the "Electric Forest"—the meet focuses on middle and long-distance races, attracting elite Olympians and World Champions aiming to hit qualifying standards for major summer championships.

FamJam Summer Opener
FamJam Summer Opener is a free, all-ages, substance-free event at Portland Dream Plaza. We open the streets for people to show up and bring spaces back to life. BWP Con
BWP Con is a day-long event including: workshops, trivia, cosplay, and panels from comics professionals, along with over 50 vendors selling their own art and goods. Invited guests include comic book writers and artists, with work for publishers ranging from Scholastic to Marvel.

Botanical Couture Fashion Show
The Pacific Northwest Florist Botanical Couture Fashion show is the kick off event for the 2026 Bloomtour PDX held on May 21st at 11:00AM at Directors park. The Botanical couture Fashion show is a free and public event. Botanical couture is wearable floral art and a very creative and artistic expression of Floral design. St. Johns Bizarre
The St. Johns Bizarre — “the only Portland street festival that matters” — returns May 9, 2026, for its 17th year!
503 Day
The event will have a stage with live music, street vendors that include art from Street Roots vendors, and food. The event will include an "Ankeny's Got Talent" competition where Portlanders will compete in a similar fashion to America's Got Talent, a silent disco, and other fun activities. A high profile Portland entertainer will be the MC for the day. The event will be 5 hours and 3 minutes long.
Montavilla Farmers Market 20th Anniversary
Montavilla Farmers Market will host a 20th season celebration on May 3rd from 10am–2pm at SE 76th and SE Stark St. Activities include a live seasonal recipe demo and tasting booth and a hands-on pinback button making station (take home your own hand-crafted buttons). We will also celebrate the past 19 years through a Montavilla Farmers Market historical timeline display that will give out free 20th season t-shirts to the first 100 people.
Juice Box
Juice Box is a free, all-ages First Sunday afternoon series at Happy Lucky’s Treasure Box in NE Portland, co-produced by DJ Deadpan and 55x. Built around community access and music discovery, Juice Box brings together Portland’s queer and hip hop communities in a welcoming, daytime format that removes the barriers of cover charges and late-night hours.

International Women's Sports Film Festival
Welcome to the International Women’s Sports Film Festival, the first global festival dedicated entirely to their stories, told through bold documentaries and compelling narratives.
This inaugural event will celebrate and promote women’s achievements in sports by showcasing films, documentaries, and shorts from around the globe that spotlight the stories of women and nonbinary athletes, team, and the impact of these women in sports culture.
Kulinarya Festival: Celebrate the Flavors of the Philippines
The festival begins with Kulinarya: Filipino Culinary Classes from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, offering participants the chance to learn, taste, and experience Filipino dishes through hands on instruction and guided demonstrations.
The celebration continues from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a bustling marketplace of Filipino food vendors, showcasing regional specialties and modern interpretations of classic recipes, accompanied by live music throughout the afternoon. There will also be non-food vendors.
HBCU SpringComing 2026
For a decade, HBCU SpringComing has been more than an event—it’s been a movement.
Now, in The Road to TENure, co-founders George A. Peters II and Lauren Grove open the vault on 10 years of footage, revealing the bold fight to preserve and grow this cultural celebration across three cities. Through the voices of city leaders, alumni, and scholarship recipients, this documentary sheds light on the impact of HBCU SpringComing and the deeper conversation it sparks.
Post screening, join a talk back with leaders in the Portland HBCU community.
...and then we toast! A brunch inspired "Kickback" in true HBCU SpringComing fashion immediately after with light bites and cocktails.

Outdoor School - Encore Screening
Outdoor School is an award-winning narrative feature inspired by the true story of a Portland youth transformed through nature and mentorship. The evening includes a facilitated post-film discussion with local educators and nonprofit leaders, with a portion of ticket revenue supporting regional partners.
